We deliver top-quality engineering services to every project of our customers. Cooperations Basing on cooperation with our partner, ROMEKO marine, we are strongly interested in becoming the supplier of ship spare parts made in Europe also genuine and OEM ship spare parts made in Japan, Korea and China. Our projects Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering NAVA provides an extensive range of marine technical support for existing vessels, including: retrofit design, lengthening, reclassification to new purposes, installation of a bow thruster, change of main propulsion, new bulbous bow, sponsons, moonpool, changes of aft shape, changes of superstructure, heavy deck crane installations, etc. When it comes to new buildings, we used to focus on small vessels but we are now ready for bigger challenges, too! We have succeeded on different stages in the following projects: mega yachts, tug boats, wind farm support vessels, barges and many others. We cover a full range of other marine design activities, such as: body lines, stability calculations, inclining tests, strength assessments, fire control and safety plans, damage control plans, anchor handling manuals, cargo securing manuals, life-saving arrangements, etc. Ballast Water Treatment Systems The treatment of ballast water, as required by the IMO and the relevant authorities in the USA, actively removes, kills or neutralises organisms prior to discharge. We have gained our experience executing projects on most types of vessels: ferries, container vessels, tankers (Ex) and others. We offer complex services throughout the whole design process, ranging from system selection, inspection on board with laser scanning, up to supervision during installation on board and commissioning. Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems The company has great experience in designing various solutions for de-SOx exhaust gas cleaning systems. NAVA can offer knowledge, involvement, and working skills with 3D laser scanning as part of reverse engineering. Our experience is based on more than 5000 3D-laser scans, more than 100 scrubber towers in 3D models, and more than 50 scrubber system projects of all types (open loop, closed loop, hybrid). Ship Spare Parts • Ship spare parts made in Europe We are strong regarding Alfa Laval and Westfalia Separators, IMO and Allweiler pumps, major brands of Plate Heat Exchangers, Wartsila Cegielski Sulzer, MAN B&W and Cummins engines, marine laundry equipment, any kind of marine equipment made in Poland • Genuine and OEM ship spare parts made in Japan, Korea and China On-Site Quality Control & Supervision Our offer covers a wide range of on-site quality control services, such as: Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements (UTM), condition surveys, CAP surveys, non-destructive testing (ultrasonic, visual, magnetic, penetrant, PMI, hardness and ferrite content measurement), steel condition assessment, surveys of vessels hull structures and supervising of its repairs, surveys shipbuilding (steel fabrication and assembly, painting, outfitting, machinery and commissioning), follow up Client’s external production (offshore and marine industry), attendance and witnessing in testing of various marine and offshore equipment, supplier’s audits. All of these services may be provided worldwide, while staying in port, shipyard, or even on board during a voyage. 3D Laser Scanning Thanks to high quality equipment (such as laser scanners, drones and photographic devices), we are able to make accurate measurements even in the toughest of environments. Combining 3D laser scanning with photogrammetry allows us to capture all required data during just one visit on board! The resulting point cloud is processed and imported into CAD software, which allows us to recreate all required surroundings of the most complicated technical spaces (like the engine room or the engine casing). On such a basis, with the use of the newest software solutions, we are able to prepare a full package of workshop documentation for any new system that you would like to install on board. By providing you with professional assistance at all stages of cooperation, we aim to guarantee the delivery of customized services that perfectly well fit all your needs and vessels. Augmented and Virtual Reality We use both Augmented and Virtual Reality for next-level project visualization. Thanks to the revolutionary capacities of the latest technology, we are able to present 3D designs in a novel way, using a virtual environment with a point cloud model retrieved from the existing vessel. Virtual point-cloud walks, virtual tours on vessels, 3D models of complete vessels and 360-degrees installation renders – everything is possible with the help of the equipment NAVA makes use of. Nevertheless, we continue to search for new ways of utilizing VR and AR in the engineering environment. NAVA is a ship design office located in Gdańsk, Poland, employing highly-skilled specialists with extensive experience in a variety of fields. Since 1992, we has delivered bespoke engineering services to major companies all around the world, paying attention to quality, timeliness and professional customer service.
