"PROMAP" a limited liability company with its headquarters in Bydgoszcz, Ludwikowo 2a, Poland was founded in 1995 and is a member of van Wingerden Group, with trade name, head office Vuren - Holland. The aim of the company "PROMAP" is to raise the profile of its products along with taking care of self-development. The potential customers are given technical backup at their disposal and we are able to offer an optimal solution and fulfill our customers' needs. All the products of our company meet all the definite requirements and standards in this area (such as ISO, MED) and also requirements of classification societies.

The principal business activity embraces: 

1. Primarily, the production of all kinds of ship windows and portholes

2. Yacht windows and portholes

3. Some types are:

• all other ship window fitments according to customer's requirements and specifications;
• vertical sliding windows with balance spring/damper;
• horizontal sliding windows;
• windows with anti-reflective and bulletproof glasses;
• windows with electro-heating glasses;
• A60, A30 and A0 class windows without or with electroheating glass;
• wheelhouse windows with different geometric shapes;
• cabin windows with and without deadlight;

This also applies to fixed sidelight portholes.


The company has many years experience and expertise in producing custom build ship windows for cruise liners, yachts, ferries also. Hence, we are prepared to be receptive to all innovations and technical new developments. We supply a large range of products as well as materials (mainly profiles) used in production. We are in close contact with leading producer of windows Construktiewerkplaats H.K. van Wingerden & ZN. B.V. from Holland.


Our main purpose is to make all efforts to provide maximum satisfaction to our customers. We achieve this by: a fast, thorough, professional service and providing high quality products. Considering the fact that our only activity is making ship windows, we also offer all products connected with them. Hence, we provide steel, stable and compensating windows and portholes boxes adapted to our windows and sidescuttles. It includes also ship blinds from approved, tinted and clear materials and foil on the basis of mechanism of world known companies, such as a German company DECOMATIC. We also supply mosquito screens or wipers together with full driving mechanism.


Our products meet the requirements and standards, concerning mainly ship Windows ISO-3903-1977 and sidelights ISO 1751-1977. Glass for windows and sidelights comply with standards ISO 614-1976 and ISO 3254-1989. At customers' request we can deliver windows with special Classification Societies acceptance (for instance: ABS, LR, GL, DNV, RMRS or PRS).


Windows and sidelights A60, A30 and A0 class have all got essential certificates. It is worth mentioning that windows and sidelights are thoroughly checked for fire resistance from inside (typical use) and outside (tankers, drilling platforms, etc.). Moreover, the products for examination requiring fire resistance e.g. windows, sidelights and windows - porthole boxes all passed the trials and gained full safety certifications. Our products also underwent the Warrington Fire Research Test in Great Britain, where they underwent 60 minutes of fire trial and additionally after a hose stream test. All completed successfully.


Our company is focused mainly on product exportation. Therefore, approximately 98% of our production is for export.
