Today, Quorning Boats employs around 50 people and builds more than 50 custom-built trimarans each year. This is a solid platform that allows us to dream and plan. The company has established itself as a major player and trendsetter worldwide when it comes to production trimarans. The Dragonfly is renowned in the world of sailing, in not only Denmark, but around the world, and with the ability to look ahead, we are heading for new horizons and future successes.

Last, but not least, this is the story of a small family business on the hill by the fishing village of Skærbæk. Based on stability, stubbornness, courage, drive, and the love of sailing, it has gained worldwide renown and has made sailing an even more exciting playground.

We welcome you to our new flagship in the Dragonfly range - the all new Dragonfly 40 Performance Cruiser. Combining more than 50 years’ experience of designing and manufacturing the best production trimarans in the world, we have now set out to create our dreamboat. The Dragonfly 40 will set new standards for comfortable cruising in the fast lane in terms of performance, ease of sailing and handling with a smaller crew or even singlehanded.

The boat will be available in two versions. The standard Touring version with self-tacking jib, and the Ultimate version with taller rig and larger overlapping furling headsail for higher performance.

Our unique Dragonfly Swing Wing system quickly reduces the 8.4 m beam down to only 4 m, without using tools, for easy docking in a single berth.

Wave piercing float design for safe and comfortable sailing, fixed bowsprit for easy setup of flying downwind sails and anchoring. The new Dragonfly interior design offers separate double forward and aft cabins, modern style galley and a spacious dinette to host your family and friends.

Quorning Boats only manufacture boats on order, ensuring each boat meets its owner's dreams and specifications. Today, Quorning Boats exports worldwide from the yard directly or via our network of local Dragonfly representatives. Since 1967, the yard has expanded several times counting almost 50 employees today. A dedicated, well experienced and high-skilled staff enables us to deliver the boat of your dreams. In order for you to learn more about our Dragonflies – without having to purchase one yourself right away – we have built two special designed Dragonfly 28 Touring. These charter boats can be booked on a weekly basis (Tuesday – Monday or Thursday – Wednesday) during the season, which is April till September.
