Stocznia Wisla is the producer of ships and ships modules, specializes in the design and production of modern vessels, including fishing vessels, special purpose vessels and training and research vessels. The specialization of the Shipyard is the construction of fishing vessels, training and research vessels and small passenger ships. In Stocznia Wisła, over 150 vessels of various types and purposes have been built for clients in Europe, Africa and Asia. The Shipyard has unique know-how and achievements in the design and construction of vessels suitable to work in tropical waters.

Our projects
  • Shipbuilding

  • -The most significant project of Stocznia WISŁA was the design, construction and delivery of the research-fishing vessel r/v BAYAGBONA for the Nigerian Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research NIOMR.

  • The vessel was honored with the title of the most innovative ship produced by the Polish shipbuilding industry in 2013.

  • -Participation in the construction of a modern research vessel Horyzont II for the Gdynia Maritime University.

  • This modern ship has been designed and equipped with specialized equipment to perform various scientific and training functions.

  • The ship received an ice class that allows regular courses to the island of Spitsbergen in the Arctic Ocean.


  • - Building a series of four MFV 208.06 multi-purpose stern trawlers for the Angolan Ministry of Fisheries

  • The vessels have been designed to catch shrimps and bottom fish. They have been equipped with modern fish processing equipment and a freezing system that meets all European sanitary and veterinary standards.

  • Trawlers are equipped with a 700kW main engine. The main part of the fishing equipment is a massive four-reel winch with a pulling force of 10 tonnes. The freezing capacity is 4 tons / 24 hours. The frozen fish are stored at -20oC in two holds with a total volume of 150m3.


  • - Delivering of over 30 units of WKR-25 vessels for shrimp fishing in tropical waters.

  • Those vessels were highly appreciated by customers from Africa due to their functionality and reliability.

  • Ten vessels of this type were delivered on order of the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran and are remaining in service since over 20 years.


  • - Building passenger and car ferries. One of the ferries was awarded, by the country of the Shipowner - Nigeria, with its own series of postage stamps.


  • Complete hulls

  • Stocznia WISŁA scope of activity includes also the manufacture and delivery of partially equipped hulls for small and medium-sized vessels.

  • We provide our clients with high quality, comprehensive services tailored to individual needs, including product transport on a seagoing pontoon.

  • Hulls are built in accordance with the strictest quality standards required by our customers - the main players of the shipbuilding industry on the European market, reputable shipowners from the cruise ship market, the maritime industry and the navy sector.


  • Complete ship modules

  • Stocznia WISŁA has delivered over 550 ship modules to Clients in Germany, Norway, Finland, France and Great Britain. Many of them for luxury passenger ships, military ships, as well as for various types of cargo ships and fishing vessels.

  • Stocznia WISŁA produces all kinds of modules, including bow, stern, midships, double bottoms and deckhouses. Stocznia WISŁA specializes in making modules and deckhouses made of thin-walled steel.

  • Stocznia WISŁA provides it's Customers with high quality, comprehensive services tailored to individual needs, including product transport on own seagoing pontoon.

  • Stocznia WISŁA has a modern machine park, thanks to which it is able to provide services at a very high level of quality.

  • Stocznia WISŁA offers cutting, welding and assembly of aluminum and stainless steel constructions. All this under the eyes of engineers with years of experience and highly qualified workers of Stocznia WISŁA, who have been guaranteeing the constant development of the Shipyard for years since its very beginning.

We offer:

·        Design, construction including procurement of materials and equipment, delivery of complete vessels of medium and small tonnage, including fishing, research and fishing, technical, passenger and special purpose vessels, up to 90 meters long and 30 meters wide

·        Construction and delivery of steel hulls of any purpose, with steel or aluminum superstructures, including installation of main machinery and equipment.

·        Construction and delivery of sections, blocks, hull modules, superstructures with equipment, with a maximum size of approx. 20 x 40 meters and a height of 28 meters, with a unit weight of up to approx. 1,100 tons
