The Sweden Yachts Group consist a four major brands:

1. Sweden Yachts It all started in 1976 with a yacht (Sverige) that was built for America’s Cup. Since then, Sweden Yachts has developed into being one of the world’s leading producers of luxurious, high quality sailing yachts, helping customers to find and participate in buying the boat of their dreams. Sweden Yachts is represented by people with ambitions to construct, produce and sell the best yachts, and we never compromise with quality.

We are keen to establish a close working relationship with all our customers and to give the best service in the process of purchasing a new yacht. Sweden Yachts owners all over the world have become our friends and we make sure to keep in touch and inform them about news from the yard. The yard today is located in Kungsviken, Sweden. Our customers can visit us throughout the whole process of buying, building and delivering their yacht and experience all stages of the production at the Yard. Sweden Yachts now build boats in the range of 40 to 54 feet, each with their own characteristics but with one thing in common; excellent quality throughout, and sailing performance above expectations.

2. Malo Yachts The yard and marina are located in Kungsviken, The Bay of Kings on the historic boat building island of Orust. Johannes Olsson started the company 1939, building wooden yachts. Johannes’ sons, Bo and Orvar Olsson took over the business in 1963 and built their first GRP Malö Yachts in 1969. Lars and Bengt Olsson, sons of Bo assumed responsibilty of Malö Yachts in 1984 and ran the company until 2008 when Bob Erixon bought the yard.

Malö Yachts is now part of Sweden Yachts Group, which also encompasses Sweden Yachts, CR Yachts and Regina of Vindö. The Group is dedicated to maintaining Swedish boat building traditions, by producing high quality, handcrafted sailing boats for the discerning sailor.

Malö Yachts are one of Scandinavia’s oldest, most experienced yacht builders. Our work force consists of a small team of dedicated, highly professional boat builders, many of our employees have more than thirty years experience and a fundamental understanding of sailing.

Malö Yachts have a higher standard of construction and are more expensively built than most comparable boats. Our raw materials, for example, GRP, teak and mahogany are the finest the market has to offer. All hulls are moulded in our factory in Dalsland and products such as sails, stainless steel fittings and covers are sourced from specially selected local companies. Our fittings bear the world’s best manufacturers labels and our production quality, design and engineering exceed all current classification requirements. All of this also gives the customer the ability to create a yacht bespoke to their needs and wishes.

Our Swedish home island of Orust is steeped in the timeless tradition of boat building and Malö Yachts has been at the forefront of this fine craft for generations. It is this heritage which makes us strive to build the best cruising yachts for the discerning yachtsman.

3. CR Yachts CR Yachts is a family run company that was founded in 1989 by Charles and Marita Rutgersson. At the age of 15 Charles started working at Harry Hallbergs Yard in Kungsviken, nowadays Hallberg-Rassy where he worked for 15 years- 7 years as a carpenter and 8 as service manager, before deciding to start his own company. For 4 years he helped boat owners around Europe with various tasks from changing an impeller on a 31 foot boat to participating on the build of a 110 foot super yacht. After years talking to and assissting boat owners, he realised that there was a lack of sailing boats on the market that offered a high quality wooden interior, good sailing performance and the possibility of customisation. So, in 1990 Charles developed the CB 370 and has since then delivered more than 150 boats from company, both one-offs and own models.

The Yard is situated on the Island of Orust, which has centuries of boatbuilding heritage. CR Yachts’ concept is to build boats which are safe, comfortable, easy to sail and with great performance. Our skilled craftsmen will build each boat to a customers’ specification. CR Yachts continuously strive to be at the forefront of technology, always using the best suppliers and materials. On account of constant technical developments, we reserve the rights to change specifications of construction and equipment without notice. The photographs may show equipment which are not standard.

4. Regina Yachts The uncompromising construction behind a Regina starts early. We put more care into the choice of materials than anyone else. We personally select all the timber that will become your Regina-only the finest quality will do. The requirements are just as demanding for the materials and detailing that we purchase from leading suppliers of fittings, sails, sheets and winches, electronics, interior textiles etc . Regina Yachts represents a perfectly balanced combination between traditional boat building and modern production ideals. Each craftsman works according to an uncompromising philosophy and ensures that the perfect feeling of quality is achieved in every detail. Our long experience and the quality consciousness that permeates the whole company helps us create unique cruising yachts. Boats with soul, boats built with the aim of being a joy for you to own for many years.

We wanted to realize our dream of deck saloon yachts with unsurpassed quality and sailing performance. We wanted to create a new concept in the area of deck saloon sailing, a concept for the quality-conscious, for those who only want the best. We also wanted our boats to be built without the need for compromise, all in the same exclusive style. Round-the-world sailors, coastal cruisers, magnificent masterpieces down to the smallest detail.

Just as we want to create boats that sail well and are of high quality, we want to create boats for quality of life onboard. The journey should be as interesting and pleasurable as the final destination. Our beautiful archipelago is overwhelming and full of contrast, surrounded by barren cliffs and stormy seas. Life on the sea in Bohuslän is as beautiful as it is dangerous. This is what has characterized the art of boat building in this area which has been handed down from generation to generation.
